Lipidforum was formally founded in 1969 and search to promote the science and technology of lipids in the nordic countries. Lipidforum aims to:

• provide a forum for presentation of material of interest to members, exchange of ideas and a contact network for collaboration.
• promote applied research and technology, i.e. industrial application of lipids, fats and oils.
• provide information about Nordic and international meetings, job opportunities in academia, research institutes and/or industry, etc.
• increase international visibility of Nordic research and industry in the lipid field.
